delicious has messed up everything

I have been using delicious for years. I started using it when it was del.icio.us. I loved it. It offered a simple way of bookmarking sites and links across Internet. I volunteered to store all SharePoint related links on delicious. I have been saving links for years. Not only I but other SharePoint users also saved their favorite links to my account. It was a "one stop" site for SharePoint lovers where they could find useful links easily. After youtube founders (AVOS) bought the site, they messed up everything. People thought they would bring the site back to life but they decided to work in their own way. Old accounts became dysfunctional. Many users are complaining that their accounts were deleted without notifying them. Users were in fact notified about the migration. Problem is many users accepted new terms and decided to migrate but still their accounts were deleted and their were many, including me, who did not see the email and missed the chance to migrate to new site. I really feel bad because all my efforts (of years) have gone into a drain.

I contacted the site and told them about the problem. They sent me following link and told me it was possible to save old bookmarks.

I was able to save my bookmarks by exporting them to an html file but I haven't figured out yet how to import them in to the new delicious site. I will try to spare some time today but if you have done it already please share your experience with us (and our blog readers).
I have uploaded the bookmarks (html format) to following location, just in case if you are interested in seeing them. It's a good resource for useful SharePoint articles and related stuff. Have a look at it!
